Sliding door operators
A sliding operator moves one or more leaves sideways along a track. It needs wall or glass space beside the opening but nothing in front, which suits busy entrances, shops and offices.
Swing door operators
A swing operator opens a hinged door with an arm or a built-in drive. It suits existing hinged doors, narrow openings and places where a sliding track is not possible, but it needs clear space for the door to swing.
Safety and comfort
Both types use sensors to stop or reverse when someone is in the way. Swing doors need extra care near the swing path so people are not struck.
